"K" Line Wind Service was established in June 2021 as a joint venture between Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha and Kawasaki Kinkai Kisen Kaisha with the mission of supporting the offshore wind by providing offshore marine operations and services.

The Japanese government announced its seventh Strategic Energy Plan at the end of 2024. One important theme of the plan is the decarbonization of power through the adoption of renewable energy. The plan highlights offshore wind as a leading generator of power for Japan.

Amid the drive to harness renewable energy, we at "K" Line Wind Service are gathering all of the accumulated know-how on offshore marine operations throughout the “K” Line Group’s global network. We are combining this experience with strategic partnerships in and outside Japan to bridge international and Japanese standards and contribute to the development of offshore wind.

KWS will strive to provide customers with comprehensive services that utilize the land and sea transportation and port operation experiences offered by the “K” Line Group. By combining these Group capabilities with the expertise of our partners, we will deliver high-quality value added services to a broad range of stakeholders.
